Attik in Education

Attik Dance has over 20 year’s experience of delivering high quality dance in education. We work in partnership with the schools, colleges and Universities we visit to create bespoke programmes of dance specific to the needs of each institution.

Projects range from pure dance work to performance work to engaging with specific curricular subjects to exam based movement explorations. Uniting this breadth of programmes is a focus on creativity, the creative process and the engagement of the individual in learning through movement and dance.

We create accessible, experiential and developmental dance sessions for children within special schools.  We aim to help the children move their bodies in new and exciting ways. We can also offer one on one sessions for students who find large dance classes inaccessible

We can provide staff inset training to improve your understanding and practice of dance teaching and give you the confidence to deliver dance in your school. We also have a range of teaching resources which you can purchase in addition to the notes provided with the inset training.

All workshop leaders employed by Attik will have completed a successful criminal records bureau check and we carry our own public liability insurance.

We work around your school day plus any special requirements you may have.
