Professional Development
Vocational Training
Attik can play a role in developing new skills, refreshing existing ones and offering support and encouragement for working creatively with dance in education and community settings.
Dancers, teachers and students can come to us to develop skills in teaching, performance in schools and community settings, setting up projects, administration, project management and for individual support.
All you need to do is look at our activity programme, identify your needs for development or skills refreshment and contact us to work out a programme of participation. This may involve shadowing, assisting, observation or project participation.
Training placements
Colleges, schools and individual artists can arrange long or short placements with the artistic and/or the management team.
Teaching skills in education and community
attik runs a busy and creative activity programme in education and community settings. If you feel observing this work could support your development then contact us to arrange a suitable opportunity for shadowing and assisting.
Inset
attik runs inset training days and twilight sessions for dancers and teachers wanting to work in schools and with pre-school groups – contact us to discuss how we can work with you or your organisation to build skills ideas and confidence in delivering dance to young people.
Courses
Look out for our summer training opportunities which include:
- Summer CPD - Dancers and musicians skills exchange

Mentoring
We are happy to work with individuals who feel that we have the skills or experience to support their development. Contact Lois Taylor or Sarah Cobley to discuss your requirements. |
