Volunteering

If you want to get involved with one of our projects and have some spare time why not become a volunteer? You will get to meet new people and help others to get the most out of their time with Attik.

We are currently looking for volunteers to assist us with;

Specialist projects:

When we have large projects, an extra pair of hands to keep things running smoothly is essential. This could include assisting the project director with rehearsals, keeping performers informed, selling programmes or just being there to assist with the unexpected.

Administration:

We like to gather as much information about our participants as possible and to ensure that we can evaluate this data we need people with a basic knowledge of computers who can turn registers into interesting evaluations.

Marketing:

We want to spread the word about our activities and need to make sure that we are getting our information out to the right places. You can help us with website optimization, market research & general marketing activities.

Safeguarding checks, such as disclosure of previous convictions will be carried out before volunteering opportunities are offered when working with children and/or vulnerable adults.

Work Experience:

We are a community and education charity and if this area of dance interests you, we can offer works experience for secondary school students, college students, university students or recent graduates. No two days are usually the same at Attik, you could be joining in with a schools workshop, community dance class, planning sessions or general office duties. If you would like to find out more about what a day or week at Attik Dance is like, please email benjamin@attik.org.uk or phone 01752 227448 to see if we have any suitable projects coming up.
