I trained at Middlesex University gaining a BA Honors Degree in Dance Performance. Whilst in London I had the opportunity of dancing in Cloud Dance Company and also performing in venues such as Sadlers Wells, Arts Depot and The Place. My training involved a strong grounding in the Humphrey Technique and from this came a further opportunity of training in Chicago with the Humphrey Society and Momenta Dance Company.

Whilst volunteering on many projects in London, I discovered my love for community dance. While working as a class assistant for Corali Dance Company I decided I wanted to learn more about dance in the community and dance performance combined. I then came back to Plymouth to teach and volunteered on the ‘Into The Woods Project’ with Attik Dance. From then on I began to teach chair based dance to older people and the work built up from there.
