Pilgrim Primary School Olympic Parade

On the 18th July, Pilgrim Primary school brought colour, laughter and rhythm to Plymouth city centre as they paraded from their school, through the city centre to Frankfurt Gate before the whole school performed an Olympic inspired dance for their friends, family and passing shoppers.

The children also created flags and banners which they proudly carried from their school grounds. We had a great time working with the school again, the teachers, staff and students were really enthusiastic, supportive and were just amazing to work with so we would like to say a big thank you to them for all their hard work.

“The children have really enjoyed the whole project. The Olympic theme has given relevance and an air of excitement to the children’s learning. Their dancing and artwork has come together to create our own Olympic Opening Ceremony.” By Sue Jones (Headteacher)
