Fight Me

A part of our RADIATE and ELEVATE programmes of work.
In May, June and July of 2015 Attik Dance ran an ambitious project with young people from the Plymouth Youth Offending Team and Youth Services, a project that explored Violence and Fighting within the lives of young people.
In September of 2015 Attik will be taking the material and ideas explored with these young people to R&D a professional touring show to be made and toured in 2016.  Through this exploration we are going to be working with 4 performers, composers, a writer, a designer and a fight choreographer. The process is going to be co-directed by Attik Artistic Director Benjamin Dunks and Theatre Royal Staff Director Lee Hart.
This is going to be a physical, visceral, fast-paced and challenging exploration of fighting in all its rawness, about the physical experience of confrontation, the consequence of 3 seconds of madness and the way we see this world from the outside.

The sharing of this work will happen at The House at Plymouth University on Friday 25th September, time tbc. Email us at Attik for more information
