The World at Your Feet celebrates the many journeys to Plymouth. It is a city-wide theatre and dance project that celebrates the many people who have made Plymouth their home.
Every part of this project is inspired by real people’s lives and the stories they have told us. Exploring migration and what it means is the foundation for this piece of work.
For the past six months we have been gathering material from people who have settled in the city… stories of exile, seeking asylum, economic migration, falling in love or simply starting again.
This will be the largest participatory project Plymouth has ever hosted!
There is a full programme of events celebrating the richness and texture migration brings to our city including a schools tour, a free dance weekend in the City Centre Piazza and ten outdoor performances in a spectacular maritime location.
You can now book your tickets for the performances here
